The Meinl NINO-ADJ4-S Djembe 8" is a djembe, with a diameter of 8" on the head, and features a mahogany shell, a 15.75" height, goat heads, and PP nylon ropes. The NINO Original African Style Rope Tuned Wood Djembes are carved from a solid piece of plantation grown mahogany wood. Meinl Djembe NINO-ADJ4-S Moon Rhythm SeriesThis djembe was bought mainly for fun purposes. Instead of carrying drum kits and all that stuff behind, I got this to use in friends gatherings and mainly to be portable.
I have a lot of fun with it, the sound is deep and clear at the same time, easy to play and well built in general. The tuning takes a bit to get used to, but as soon as you get it its a charm. Not that you have to tune it that often anyway!
I recommend it for everyone that wants a very good priced with good quality djembe.
