Electro-acoustic classical guitar with black top finish

The Ortega RCE238SN-BKT convinces with its voluminous sound, its high-quality Hardware and last but not least with its modern appearance. Since the top is made of solid wood, the classical guitar produces a distinctly balanced tone that unfolds quickly. At the same time, the flat and narrow neck guarantees comfortable playability in all 19 frets, which can be accessed optimally thanks to a generous cutaway. The exceptional headstock is equipped with chrome-plated locking tuners, which make it easy to change strings on the one hand and to tune them precisely on the other. In addition, the guitar is equipped with an in-house pickup system that features a side preamp with integrated tuner. The instrument is completed by the noble high-gloss finish, which is dyed black on the top . The scope of delivery includes a sturdy gig bag.

Construction and woods

The top is made of solid spruce so that the classical guitar can develop a clear sound. The body on the other hand is made of laminated mahogany and enriches the frequencies with a pleasant warmth. The perfect playability is ensured by a flat mahogany neck, which is equipped with a fingerboard made of laurel that measures a slender 48 mm at the nut.

Hardware and design

With the help of an adapted saddle, the instrument intonates cleanly and precisely over the entire scale length of 650 mm. In addition, the chromed tuners guarantee an exact tuning of the 6 nylon strings, which are knotted to a bridge made of laurel. Visually, the Ortega RCE238SN-BKT is rounded off by noble maple bindings and a soundhole rosette made of walnut, maple and mother-of-pearl, which stand in pleasant contrast to the black lacquered top.

Electronics

The active Ortega MagusPro pickup system makes the classical guitar suitable for stage and passes the sound directly and unaltered to the amplifier. In addition, the output signal can be individually adjusted with the help of a 3-band equalizer. Conveniently, a tuner is integrated into the Preamp, which displays the respective pitch on a generous Display. The system is powered by a 9V block battery.
