In addition to the sandblasted swamp ash body, the guitar features a multi-piece roasted maple neck with excellent playing characteristics thanks to the fast profile and scalloping in the high registers of the Macassar ebony fingerboard. In conjunction with the extra-long 27" scale length, Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers also provide multi-faceted guitar tones with razor-sharp articulation even at low tunings and maximum gain. A Hipshot bridge and LTD Locking tuners complete the LTD SN-1007HT Baritone Black Blast electric guitar from ESP.

The swamp ash body with sandblasted finish is complemented by a fast neck made of Roasted Maple and Purpleheart.

Despite its classic-looking design, the LTD SN-1007HT offers a tight sound and the best conditions for the foolproof implementation of modern playing techniques. While the sandblasted swamp ash body, whose grain remains visible and palpable through the Finish, lies with optimal balance on the body, the extra-long 27" baritone scale length (686 mm) promises crisp response and precise articulation of all seven strings due to the increased string tension. The absolute highlight of the 7-string guitar is the bolt-on, five-piece neck made of roasted maple and Purpleheart, which not only fits perfectly in the hand with its flat "Thin and Profile, but also guarantees excellent handling and buttery-smooth playing characteristics thanks to the Macassar ebony fingerboard with compound radius, stainless steel fre t and scalloping from the 17th fre t.

With two voicings each, the Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic and Alnico pickups deliver contemporary, precisely articulated metal tones.

To elicit adequate metal sounds of modern character from the guitar amplifier, ESP equips the SN-1007HT with a Set of the trendy Fishman Fluence Modern active pickups. In bridge position, the Fluence Modern Ceramic 7-String Humbucker delivers a modern sound with crisp Attack and tight bass foundation that cuts through the Mix with razor-sharp assertiveness even in abysmal tunings. At the neck, meanwhile, the Fluence Modern Alnico 7-string humbucker provides a rounded sound for fluid soloing and harmonic chords. The pull switch in the Tone knob activates a second voicing for each pickup, so that the organic sound of traditional passive pickups is available at the bridge, while a particularly clear sound is provided at the neck.
