Ibanez BTB 33 NTF Natural Flat

The Ibanez BTB33 5-String Bass Guitar in Natural Flat is the first shorter scale addition to the brands Bass Workshop range of instruments that have been designed to bring concept-style basses to the masses. Due to its shorter scale length, the BTB33 is tuned from E-C, a feature that is unique within the Ibanez bass guitar range.

The Ibanez BTB33 features Mahogany body wings that are topped with pieces of Ash, a combination that gives the bass a brilliant combination of stunning tones and looks that are sure to make it stand out from the crowd. The body wings are joined by a 33” scale 5-piece BTB5 Maple and Bubinga thru-neck that is topped by a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard with Abalone dot inlays.

The body of the BTB33 is fitted with a pair of highly versatile Bartolini BH1 soapbar-style pickups. These are accompanied by an Ibanez Custom Electronics active 3-band EQ wit mid-frequency selector switch and a master volume and pickup blend control. Rounding out the hardware selection of the Ibanez BTB33 is a Graph Tech BLACK TUSQ XL nut and a Mono-Rail V bridge, both of which help to improve tuning stability and sustain.
