The Walrus Audio Fathom Multi-Function Reverb is a versatile Reverb effect pedal that delivers classic reverbs and dreamy ambient soundscapes.
The Walrus Audio Fathom features 4x algorithms which are selected via a rotary switch. The "Hall" and "Plate" offer traditional sounds, while the "Lo-Fi" mode uses filtering to create vintage flavours. The "Sonar" mode adds both an octave above and below creating huge atmospheres. In addition, 3x intensities of Modulation can be selected, applying movement and variation.
Despite its extensive sound possibilities, the Walrus Audio Fathom is simple to operate. The Decay, Dampen and Mix controls can be used to adjust the time, the treble content and the ratio between the effected and dry signal. Depending on the selected algorithm, an additional effect parameter can be set via the X control. In addition, the “Sustain” switch allows the reverb tail to be extended to infinity! The bypass switch functions as expected but also as a ‘momentary switch’ when held down.
