The Fender CuNiFe Custom Relic RW Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst is a strictly limited edition electric guitar from the Fender Custom Shop that delivers the magical hi-fi sound of the Seventies thanks to the Wide Range Humbucker with authentic CuNiFe magnets. At the bridge, a Fender Texas Special single-coil provides output-strong twang sounds with just the right amount of bite. In addition to the alder slab body with bindings on the back and front, the Fender CuNiFe Tele Custom Relic features a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck in the comfortable "'60s Oval C" profile. Last but not least, precise Fender Vintage Style tuners and a Telecaster bridge with RSD string saddles complete the Fender Limited Edition CuNiFe Tele Custom Relic RW Faded Aged Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst.
Beneath the nitrocellulose lacquer with detailed Relic finish, the Fender Limited Edition CuNiFe Tele Custom Relic electric guitar hides a traditional construction. Whilst the two-piece alder slab body is accentuated by bindings on the front and back, the bolt-on neck made of sturdy maple with standing annual rings (quartersawn maple) carries a rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The not-too-strong "60s Oval C" neck profile and the subtly modernised fingerboard radius of 9.5" (241 mm) also promise particularly flexible handling for almost any playing technique.
The central component in the sound production of the Fender Limited Edition CuNiFe Tele Custom is undoubtedly the Wide Range Humbucker placed on the neck. Equipped with authentic CuNiFe magnets, the pickup delivers the typical hi-fi sound of the Seventies, which never loses its definition even when struck hard and brings out every note with rich bass and clear treble. At the bridge, on the other hand, a Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil provides the typical Tele bite and twang, with the slightly increased output of the single-coil helping to create juicy drive sounds.

The string-through body Telecaster bridge on the body not only supports the crisp sound of the electric guitar, but also guarantees precise intonation and string action adjustment with compensated brass string saddles from the Custom Shop Research Division (RSD). Behind the bone nut, Fender Vintage Style tuners also ensure stable and accurate tuning of the Fender CuNiFe Tele Custom Relic.
