The Novation Circuit Mono Station features 32 touch-sensitive RGB pads and two individually controllable oscillators that are supplemented by three distortion modes and a multimode filter that can work as a high, low and bass pass. The sync and tuning parameters of both oscillators can be individually controlled. The Novation Circuit Mono Station has four waveforms (sawtooth, triangle, rectangle and sample & hold), a sub-oscillator, ring modulation and noise generation. High, low and bandpass filters are available with flank divisions of 12dB and 24dB.
The Novation Circuit Mono Station can be operated as a paraphonic or monosynth with each oscillator being individually controlled by its own sequencer. In addition to the two oscillator sequencers, there is also a modulation sequencer. This allows you to change the length, to switch patterns immediately, to edit or to select sync rates. The 4x8 modulation matrix allows you to use the LFO with four waveforms, envelope, sequencer or velocity as the source of modulation. Complex modulations of pitch, pulse width, amp, filter, distortion or CV are easily implemented.
Up to 64 patches can be stored directly on the synth. The CV, Gate and Modulation outputs of the Circuit Mono Station are ideal for controlling other devices. External MIDI equipment can, for example, be controlled via the MIDI inputs and outputs (mini-left). The signals input via the audio input can be processed with the analogue filter and distortion of the circuit mono station.
Each Novation Circuit Mono Station comes with a USB cable, three MIDI breakout cables, a 12V DC power supply, Ableton Live Lite and 4GB of Loopmasters sounds and samples.
