The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 pedal amp provides every Pedalboard with sufficient power reserves for every application between rehearsal room, stage and studio. The guitar amplifier in compact pedal format delivers an output of up to 100 watts and has a number of useful additional functions that ensure adept sounds and suitable connectivity with a wide range of equipment from Preamps and modelers to cabinets, mixing consoles and interfaces.

100 watts of power with plenty of headroom

The Dept. 10 AMPED 1 is characterized by its high headroom, which reproduces the sound of the preamp used crystal clear and without additional distortion. Up to 100 watts of power can be delivered to cabinets with 8 or 16 ohms, with the response switch offering a choice of five different tube power amp simulations of the most popular power valves. Even the authentic tube behavior including the classic breakup point and strong tube sag effect is impressively implemented.

Ideal for modelers and preamps

The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 pedal amp can be combined with almost all sound-producing components such as external preamps and modelers and gives the sound of the equipment used a stage-ready volume. When played on its own, you can choose between classic US or UK voicing, while the flat voice mode is specially designed for combination with external devices and reproduces the incoming sound uncolored and unaltered.

Reverb with freeze effect

Another useful additional feature on board the Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 Pedal Amp is a high-quality reverb effect. The effect, which is controlled by a single reverb control, has its own footswitch and can therefore be switched on or off at any time. When the reverb effect is active, a freeze effect can also be called up via the hold function of the reverb footswitch, which provides further interesting sonic possibilities.

Versatile connection options

The fact that the Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 1 pedal amp can be integrated into almost any environment is proven by its numerous connection options for different areas of application. The FX Loop of the Dept. 10 AMPED 1 allows you to loop in additional devices and also offers two further outputs for supplying 9V effects, while the USB-C connection is available for use as an audio interface or for processing the Cab Rig section, whose outputs are located on the side and can be used via headphones or XLR.
