Electric guitar in high gloss finish with flamed maple-top, Seymour Duncan pickups and piezo pickup system

The Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss convinces as a versatile electric guitar with a contemporary full equipment and a high playing comfort. The slim mahogany body with chic maple top takes a comfortable playing position, while the generous cutaways offer unobstructed access over the entire neck. This is crafted from mahogany and traditionally glued, while the flat "D" profile sits comfortably in the hand, making any riff or lick feel like it comes naturally on the ebony fingerboard. On the amp, the tried-and-true combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge delivers versatile sounds ranging from pop to blues to rock, with authentic single-coil tones added thanks to coil splits. The integrated piezo pickup system provides furthermore first-class acoustic guitar sounds, so that there are no limits to the tonal variety and musical expression. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and precise locking tuners complete the Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss.

FAME Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss
The Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss combines a contemporary full equipment with a high playing comfort.

High playability and careful wood selection

The Fame Forum IV Modern is made by experienced luthiers in Europe and convinces accordingly with a careful wood selection and a flawless finish. The body is made of Khaya mahogany with a top of curly maple, whose unique grain is emphasized by the high gloss finish. The highlight is without a doubt the sharply contoured arching of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability in all registers. Thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile, the Sapelli mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, so that every note almost plays itself on the ebony fingerboard.

FAME Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss Pickups
With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a piezo pickup system in the bridge, the Fame Forum IV Modern delivers versatile sounds.

Seymour Duncan Humbuckerfor sounds between Blues and Rock

Thanks to the versatile pickup equipment, the FameForum IV Modern is particularly flexible in sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used that delivers the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. Here, the bridge pickup convinces with a high output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless sustain and warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil-split circuitry, authentic single-coil tones with the typical bell-like clarity of sound are also at your fingertips.

FAME Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss Controls
The front volume control is a push/pull pot and activates the piezo, whose volume is controlled by the rear pot. Via the mini switch the humbuckers can be split to single coils.

Piezo pickup system

Besides the magnetic pickups the Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system, which is integrated in the bridge and has an active preamp. The system is activated by a pull on the front volume knob and delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behaviour. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer, so that mixed sounds with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups are also possible.

Forum IV Modern review
.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unvarnished satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech ghost piezo bridge with the corresponding preamp - that's how you score points. Last but not least, both guitars have an absolutely convincing sound and serve a wide range of different music genres thanks to very good swing characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable sustain.
