The Paiste Colorsound 900 Splash 12" is made of B8 bronze alloy and finished by hand. At 12 inches in diameter, it produces short but powerful accents that can be used in a wide variety of styles. The sound is medium bright, rich and short with a relatively wide range. The black finish provides visual presence on any stage.
The innovative design gives the 900 Series drum cymbals great flexibility and excellent playability. The sound is rich and warm, peppered with well-proportioned treble. Larger and heavier models also possess a good level of brilliance, sharpness and projection. The core of the program focuses on crash and ride cymbals of various sizes in medium and heavy strength. A selection of hi-hats, splashes and chinas rounds out the program.
All Paiste 900 Series cymbals are made from a B8 bronze alloy, better known to many as 2002 Bronze. The 92% copper to 8% tin blend is known for a very warm, brilliant and expressive sound character. The machine-finished 900 Series cymbals are hand-hammered and hand-lathed by Paiste's experienced cymbal smiths, a true standout in this price range. The special finish gives the 900 Series Cymbals a dark shine and visually enhances turning patterns and hammer marks for a spectacular appearance that combines roughness with elegance.
