The 3-D Cajon from Pearl with the model designation PBC-53D offers a harmonious symbiosis of sound quality and sophisticated design. The body side of the Cajon is decorated with a CNC-milled 3-D graphic, which makes the 3-D Cajon stand out from the mostly rather unadorned cases of other manufacturers;
But the 3-D Cajon also offers an individual sound character due to the arrangement of the snare carpet. This is positioned a bit higher than with conventional Cajon models, which increases the bass range and gives the "slap corners" a particularly crisp snare response. This is further supported by the inside lacquered face. Another advantage of this design is the clear separation of bass and snare sound.
The body of the 3-D Cajon is made of Asian hardwood and is strongly rounded at the corners, which increases seating comfort and ensures that your legs do not fall asleep even after long periods of playing. The playing surface is screwed to the body, which gives the sound more liveliness and dynamics than a glued playing surface. For a secure stand, the 3-D Cajon has four large rubber feet.
