The Tama Starclassic Maple is a drum set for professional demands. Equipped with extra thin drum kettles made of best maple wood and equipped with the most modern features of the Tama hardware forge like Star-Cast Mounting System or Quick-Lock Tom Brackets the Starclassic Maple drums can convince in every respect, whether in the studio or on stage.
This boiler kit from the legendary Tama Drum Series comes with a 20 inch Bass Drum, 12 inch Tom Tom as well as a 14 inch Floor Tom in Piano Black finish and chrome plated boiler hardware.

Tom Toms and Floor Toms of the Starclassic Maple series consist of 6 layers of maple wood and have a wall thickness of 5 mm, the bass drum has 8 layers and 7 mm. The small wall thicknesses ensure an optimal, loss-free transfer of the hits from the skin to the kettle. Since the boiler loses its stability with less wood layers, the number of wood layers has been maintained, the individual layers made thinner and glued crosswise. The result is extra thin drum kettles with excellent resonance characteristics and the usual robustness.
The Star-Cast tom suspensions ensure that the toms can be attached to the tom holders as vibration-neutral as possible. Thanks to the Quick-Lock Tom Brackets, this is particularly quick and easy to do by hand. With the Floor Tom, air-suspended rubber feet pursue the same goal. Tom Toms and Floor Toms of the Starclassic Maple series are equipped with precisely crafted cast hoops, both the clamping brackets and the bass drum claws are carefully underlaid with rubber pads. Hold tight washers provide tuning stability, the skins are from the G2 and EQ4 series from Evans .
