The ZOOM PodTrak P4next is the compact all-in-one solution for anyone who wants to produce podcasts, interviews, voice recordings or streaming reliably and with little setup effort. You get a mobile recorder and a USB audio interface in one device - ideal if you either want to record directly on microSD or work versatilely via the computer in the studio workflow. Thanks to 4 XLR microphone inputs with powerful preamps (up to +70 dB) and switchable +48 V phantom power, the P4next can be used safely with both dynamic podcast microphones and condenser microphones.

Important tools are directly on board to ensure that voices quickly sound "broadcast-ready": TONE and COMP provide more presence and controlled dynamics, while Lo-Cut and Limiter defuse disturbing bass and level peaks. For difficult environments, AI Noise Reduction also comes into play, which reduces background noise without the need for immediate post-processing. The USB Mix-Minus function is particularly practical for remote recordings, as it prevents echo loops when guests are connected. At the same time, you can use the USB audio return to conveniently bring music or recordings from your computer, smartphone or tablet back into your setup.

The P4next is also clearly designed for podcast productions when it comes to monitoring: four headphone outputs with separate volume controls make splitter solutions superfluous and give each speaker their own level. Recordings are made as WAV in 48 kHz / 24 bit, if desired as a stereo mix plus individual tracks - perfect if you want to make fine adjustments during editing. For a live feel or fast production, there are also 4 sound pads (A-D) that can be assigned jingles, intros or SFX. And if you want to produce on the go, the device runs on either 2× AA batteries or via USB-C - compact, lightweight and ready for mobile sessions.
