Akai enters the second round with the LPD8 MIDI pad controller, featuring a robust design and backlit (RGB) pads taken from the "top-of-the-line" MPC X standalone Hardware. On board are again eight assignable knobs (270°) that allow you to assign various parameters to your DAW/plug-ins. or Delay, EQ or Trim functions - you decide!

MPC Beats

To get you started right away you get access to the MPC Beats software (download). The DAW is based on legendary MPC Hardware and allows you to produce, edit, record, mix and master music! On board are synths that provide you with various leads, basses, pads and keyboard sounds, while effect plug-ins help to make the sound even fatter!
