The Arturia AudioFuse Studio Rev2 is a versatile desktop audio interface for professional recording, mixing and production environments. With a total of 18 inputs and 20 outputs, four high-quality DiscretePRO mic/line/instrument preamps and high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz AD/DA conversion, the interface is suitable for both compact project studios and more extensive setups with multiple signal sources. The four preamps offer a gain range of up to 72 dB, a very low input level of –129 dBu and a dynamic range of up to 119 dB. This ensures reliable handling of even quiet microphones and challenging recording situations.
In addition to the four mic/line/instrument inputs, there are four further line inputs available, to which, for example, synthesisers, drum machines or external studio equipment can be permanently connected. For vinyl sampling, there is also a built-in phono input with an RIAA preamp. Four analogue insert points allow additional outboard equipment, such as compressors or equalizers, to be integrated into the signal path. Two aux outputs can also be used for line signals and convenient guitar reamping.
The AudioFuse Studio Rev2 is also extensively equipped in terms of digital connectivity. ADAT I/O allows for the addition of up to eight extra audio channels at 96 kHz, whilst coaxial S/PDIF, Word Clock and MIDI In/Out enable flexible integration into existing studio set-ups. The built-in Bluetooth receiver supports AAC, aptX, aptX HD and aptX Low Latency, allowing smartphones or other compatible playback devices to be integrated wirelessly into your workflow, for example. A built-in 3-port USB hub offers additional connection options for controllers, storage devices and other USB accessories.
For monitoring, the Arturia AudioFuse Studio Rev2 also functions as a monitor controller. Two pairs of speakers can be conveniently managed, whilst functions such as Dim, Mute and Mono enable a quick mix check. Two independently adjustable headphone outputs with separate source selection also make recording sessions with multiple musicians easier. The robust metal casing is designed for daily studio use. The package is rounded off by the included AudioFuse Creative Suite, featuring effects, preamp emulations and virtual instruments – making the AudioFuse Studio Rev2 a comprehensive all-in-one solution for recording, monitoring and music production.
