The flagship
Hersteller presents its new high-end studio vocal microphone, the Audio-Technica AT5040. As the first model in the new 50 series flagship range, it represents a milestone in condenser capsule development.
A treat not just for the voice
The AT5040 offers an extremely smooth sound in the high-frequency range with controlled sibilance. Its fast transient response and large-diaphragm characteristics make it equally ideal for recording acoustic instruments such as the z.B. grand piano, Gitarreoder saxophone.
Completely new capsule design
Inside is a four-part, rectangular transducer element, developed specifically for this high-end microphone and representing the cutting edge of current sound conversion technology. Four perfectly matched, ultra-thin diaphragms work together optimally and offer twice the diaphragm area of standard 1-inch studio microphones.
