Befaco MIDI Thing is an interface module for modules Synthesizer in Eurorack format. The module is a compact 4-channel midi CV/gate interface with 12-bit conversion that enables V/Oct control with an accuracy of about 1 cent. It allows the conversion of MIDI messages into CV/Gate signals with multiple function modes supporting multiple channels and polyphony as well as a drum trigger mode. With a simple push of a button, you can switch between modes, MIDI automatically detect channels, switch to calibration mode, and change various settings such as clock resolutions or retrigger mode.

The different function modes

The module Befaco MIDI Thing has twelve different function modes, including polyphonic, monophonic and drum modes. The clock resolutions 48, 24, 12, 6 and 3 ppqn (Pulses per quarter note ) are available. All modes are switched by pressing the head for five seconds.
