Behringer XR12 X-Air: digital stagebox mixer for small setups

The Behringer XR12 is a digital mixer in the form of a stagebox. It can be controlled remotely via external media devices such as tablets or PCs using the integrated router with Wi-Fi. All common system requirements such as iOS, Android, Mac and Linux are compatible.

Features

The XR 12 is equipped with 4 microphone inputs, which are designed as a combination socket for XLR and jack. The microphone inputs are equipped with MIDAS preamplifiers, which are characterised above all by their low noise. The other 8 inputs are jack sockets to which guitar, bass, keyboard, MP3 player and other line signals can be connected. A gate, a 4-band EQ and a compressor can be switched on for each channel via the app.

Effects and connections

The DSP has an extensive collection of effects that can also be assigned to each channel. This also applies to the output channels, which are equally equipped with a compressor, a 6-band equaliser or a 31-band graphic equaliser to optimally adjust the sound in difficult environments. The USB connection allows a stereo signal to be recorded as well as the stereo sum to be played out for recording. A controller, such as the Behringer X Touch series, can be connected via the midi interface, so that analogue access via faders and pots is also possible for mixing. The robust XR12 is supplied with rack brackets so that it can also be installed in a rack.

If you are making music in a smaller formation or have sound reinforcement with voice applications, then the XR 12 is the perfect choice.
