With the Bogner Supersonic Distortion Pedal, Bogner packs the characteristic high gain sound of the Bogner supersonic amplifier built since 2001 into a handy pedal format. Reinhold Bogner equipped the "Armageddon in a Box" pedal with 5 discrete Class A gain stages and deliberately without operational amplifiers. Thus the pedal represents exactly the tone of the amplifier channel and remains clear, dynamic and even complex chords dissolve cleanly.

The 3-band equalizer with controls for bass, middle and treble allows the sound character of the supersonic sound to be precisely determined, while the foot-switchable boost provides an extra portion of steam for wide leads and solos.
