If you only need an acoustic guitar for a few live songs, but don't want to lug it around all the time, you'll get your money's worth with the Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator. The stompbox from the famous Compact Pedals series uses advanced COSM modeling technology to transform any electric guitar into a variety of different acoustic guitars. Authentic models are available to choose from, recreating either a dreadnought, a jumbo, or the typical sound of a piezo pickup. In addition, the body and top controls influence the resonance behavior and overtone spectrum to further customize the acoustic sound. Furthermore, an infinitely variable reverb effect and an additional line output for connection to mixing consoles, recording devices and similar line devices are on board the Boss AC-3.
