Started learning guitar just over a year ago and bought this as I wanted to use the patches for it. Have not even tried them as there are that many sounds on the GT1 to keep me occupied. I love the 30 second looper and is enough for me to practice with. Would totally recommend this product and worth the price. The addition adjustable settings and tones in each of nearly 100 tones will have me occupied for years to come. Nice compact size is good as wife hasn't complained about it in the sitting room.
