NOTE: i rate 1 for handling as i got it from a friend.
As a half-time guitar player, I find this amp very good if you do not have the big buck to buy the big brand.
I run it with a Ibanez RG321Ex with a set of BareKnuckle Black Hawks and i manage to get a great sound from it. Metal tones are punchy, great attack, leads are really good and when you roll on to the neck pickup you can get that creamy leads that sound very good.
it also has some good clean tones, but these are more for metal cleans, somewhat angry.
for lead players, it lacks some effects, but getting some foot switches AND this amp is still cheaper than other options.
for rhythm guitar players, you need very little else
great metal amp for a low price, do check it out!
Use it in my small garage band and have seen it being used by known metal bands in my country great sound lacks a bit of clarity due to the speakers and not the BEST wormanship but for the price quite remarkable have the non infinium version for 3 years now and still going strong no complaints
This amp is really good, it sounds just like a 5150 for three times less money!
It is preety versatile in its sounds, you can play a nice clean tone or crunch or a Heavy Metal tone.
In terms of the heavy metal tone, i have never heard any amp sounding so good for this kind of money.
It lacks in delays and other effects, wich is prety normal for a valve amp.
Highly recomended!
