The Crazy Tube Circuits Ziggy V2 offers a dual Overdrive effect pedal for electric Guitar with British character. The pedal is based on discrete cascaded MOSFET Gain Stages which emphasizes the dynamic response and presents a transparent sound. Here, the Gain control has a strong influence on the voicing and adds extra bass, whilst the Tone control represents an additional top boost. If more gain is needed, additional reserves can be called up via the internal switch inside the Ziggy. Both channels for Low Gain and High Gain are switched via Silent Relay True Bypass for noiseless operation on the current amplifier.

Dual Low/High Gain Overdrive Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar
This pedal goes from "pushed clean" to fairly high gain distortion and works well over a clean or mildly crunchy amp. Very simple to use, but does not stack. I have found it most effective at low to medium gain settings, as high gain tends to get a little muddy. Would have helped to have some way of attenuating the bass on the high gain side to reduce the muddiness. Don't expect tight, modern distortion from this pedal, but if you're after a more vintage rock tone, or if you want to add a little bit of life to a clean sound, then consider giving this pedal a try...
