DW Performance ShellSet "Studio", LC-Natural

The Performance Studio Natural is part of the Performance Sets series. These drums are DW drums through and through. No detail was overseen and no compromises were made. Low-mass cast claws, new badge, lacquered by hand, all the features of a high-end series.

The shells of the Performance Series feature a new layer orientation concept called HVX. Layers of high-quality hard rock maple from North American are set to each other either vertically or horizontally. This produces an impressive, deep, ground sound with a strong attack with a ton of resonance and sustain. The DW Performance Set is ideally suited for stage performances, but also great for recording in the studio.

As usual, DW offers players the possibility to realize their own personal desires. When it comes to hardware you have the choice between chrome, golden and black nickel. The popular and often copied lugs of the DW Drums are slightly smaller and not completely round on the Performance Series which doesn't hurt its appearance.

The list of high-end features of the Performance Series is extended with the DW patented "Suspension Tom Mount". The system delivers maximum vibration capabilities and a secure hold while allowing the full sound development of the tom shell. True Pitch lugs are included to further optimize the tuning behavior.

The Snare comes with the proven Mag Throw Off System from DW, which allows for a comfortable and fast tensioning of the snares with the help of magnets.
