Simple structure - great effect
The Dark Cloud Delay is designed with simplicity in mind, offering only the essential parameters to ensure clear, intuitive operation without a steep learning curve. Classic controls for Delay and Feedback allow you to easily adjust the delay time and the repetitions of the effect, while the Mix control provides precise balance between the dry and wet signals. Additionally, the Mod knob enables you to tweak one of the three effect algorithms, and the central toggle switch selects the desired Mode.
For even greater flexibility, the Dark Cloud Delay includes a Tap Tempo function, allowing for quick and easy adjustment of the delay time to match the tempo of your performance. The three available effect modes provide endless creative possibilities: the Tape Delay mode captures the legendary warmth of classic analog delay effects, while Harmonic Mode offers unique tonal shifts by harmonically pitching the original signal. Reverse Mode lets you play the delay effect backwards, perfect for creating wild lo-fi textures and experimental ambient sounds.
