Creative instrument library for cinematic textures and extraordinary timbres

In collaboration with the exceptional artist Steven Wilson, EastWest has produced another instrument library with Ghostwriter, this time aimed particularly at sound tinkerers and lovers of unusual sounds in vintage style.

The sample package contains guitars, basses, drums, choirs, keyboard instruments and effect sounds, some of which have been alienated beyond recognition with the integrated (filter, distortion) or external (pitch shifter, Leslie, compression) effects and are intended to inspire you to create your own designs. The sounds can be used in your own compositions and film projects alike and are sure to attract attention.

Anyone who appreciates the sounds of Porcupine Tree and the rest of Steven Wilson 's oeuvre should definitely take a closer look at this library!

The included EastWest PLAY advanced sample engine reliably integrates the samples into any 64bit-capable DAW and enables the extensive arrangement of the various sound parameters and articulation, which is implemented by the software through the selection of the corresponding samples. The volume curve can also be shaped with an AHDSR envelope. Round robin articulation is used for fast repetitions: instead of the same sample, different samples of the same articulation type are played alternately to prevent an artificial impression. This creates a natural, even sound, even with fast 16th note staccato. naturally, a comprehensive stereo output is supported.
The sound can be further shaped with a high-pass and low-pass filter and an amp simulation. The plug-in also contains high-quality effect processors for reverb and tape delay for room design. Finally, the velocity sensitivity can be adjusted to external midi devices such as Drum pads and master keyboards.
