Volcan by EoWave is a well-equipped dual-function generator that can operate as either an attack/release respectively attack/sustain/release envelope, oscillator, LFO or slew limiter. The waveform is continuously adjustable from exponential to linear to logarithmic; toggle switches for loop mode are also available. The faders Rise and Fall, which can also be modulated via CV, adjust the envelope's course. In LFO mode, the sliders set the waveform and its speed at the same time. The module also distinguishes if a Gate is present or not. Without gate the circuit behaves like a free-running LFO, with gate Attack and Release are looped until Gate ends again. Used as slew limiter, you patch the control voltage to be processed into the SLEW input and set the desired voltage curve with the three parameters.
