FBT HIMaxX 40

Powerful sound reinforcement for live sound, monitoring and installation

The FBT HiMaxX 40 is a powerful passive 2-way PA loudspeaker specially developed for professional live sound, monitoring and fixed installation applications. Thanks to the robust yet lightweight polypropylene housing, the system is ideal for mobile applications as well as for permanent installation use.

Inside is a high-quality 12" B&C custom neodymium woofer with a 3" voice coil, combined with a precisely tuned 1" B&C compression driver with a 1.7" voice coil. The result is a powerful, dynamic sound with clear speech intelligibility and transparent music reproduction. With a power handling capacity of 500 watts RMS into 8 ohms and a maximum sound pressure level of up to 131 dB peak, the HiMaxX 40 delivers superior performance even at high levels.

The frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and the controlled dispersion behaviour of 90° x 60° ensure even sound distribution in a wide variety of sound reinforcement situations. The integrated passive crossover with "soft-trip" protection circuit reliably protects the woofer and high-frequency driver in daily operation.

The asymmetrical housing design also allows flexible use as a floor monitor. Two Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors allow simple cabling and signal routing. Four integrated M10 flying points as well as optionally available wall brackets and stand solutions, further extend the range of applications. The integrated 35 mm stand flange also allows the HiMaxX 40 to be mounted quickly and stably on standard speaker stands.
