Flexibly match subwoofers and satellite speakers

The Fame X-Over MKII 19" is the redesigned successor to the highly popular Fame Audio X-Over 19" crossover.

As well as the strikingly fresh look of the MK II version in modern white, there have also been significant improvements in terms of feel. Compared to the previous model, the front-panel controls fit much better in the hand and the potentiometers operate noticeably more precisely.

The inputs and outputs are available in both balanced XLR and RCA versions, making the Fame Audio X-Over MKII 19" crossover an attractive option for hi-fi use as well. The subwoofer signal is also output twice as dual-mono L/R. Control elements are provided for main level, sub level, and separate crossovers for the subwoofer and satellites, as well as for phase reversal of the subwoofer signal.

Conclusion: My conclusion on the FAME X-Over MKII review is clear: the crossover is well worth it for users looking for a simple, analogue and cost-effective solution for sub/top setups. It offers the key functions, is easy to understand and fits neatly into a 19-inch PA rack. Particularly in small to medium-sized sound reinforcement systems, it can help to organise the bass range more cleanly and take some of the load off the top speakers.
