Medium-Scale Bass in Grand Concert Style

With its handy Grand Concert body made of laminated okoumé wood, laminated spruce top and slightly shortened 32" scale length (810 mm), the PCBE12 acoustic bass delivers a warm sound with a brilliant treble spectrum for sonorous grooving around the campfire or at the acoustic session. The slim maple neck in PCBE profile also offers pleasant playing characteristics over the entire Laurel fingerboard.

Pickup system

Thanks to the built-in pickup system consisting of an Undersaddle Transducer and an active AEQ-2T preamp, the Acoustic PCBE12-OPN Open Pore Natural Acoustic Bass is ideally equipped for amplified applications on the big stage. The pickup system convinces with a warm and natural output of playing style and acoustic bass, while a 2-band EQ provides precise control over the tone. Thanks to the integrated tuner, the acoustic bass can also be tuned quickly and precisely.
