Together with Holger Mack - the inventor of the legendary "Mack" embouchure trainer - the Mack-R was developed.

What is the Mack-R?

The Mack-R is an embouchure trainer for trumpet that sits directly on the instrument. You insert your mouthpiece into the Mack-R, which sits firmly in the leadpipe - and you can play as if you had the mouthpiece directly in your hand. Except that the original mouthpiece spacing is retained and you can operate the valves and slides normally at the same time.

The special innovation: Buzz-R compatible

The Mack-R has been specially developed so that you can attach your Buzz-R embouchure trainer directly to it. This allows you to combine targeted mouthpiece training on the instrument with the proven resistance of the Buzz-R - for even more effective training.
