Moffenzeef Modular Kriket is a four channel Blip & Beep Percussiøn module. The pitches of the four channels can be controlled individually via CV and short trigger commands elicit small clicks from Kriket, similar to a clave. The longer the pulse widths of the trigger commands become, the more sounds develop that are similar to those of a heartbeat monitor. Trigger signals at the "KRIKET" input are internally distributed to all four "BANG!" inputs, making it easy to create cowbells from other galaxies!
Kriket generates proportional square-wave pulses from the trigger signals present at the "BANG!" input - if the incoming trigger signal has a large bandwidth (above 2 volts), the note remains, whereas the note is suspended if the incoming trigger signal has a narrow bandwidth (below 2 volts). This feature allows for vivid variations resulting from changes in the pulse width of the incoming trigger signals.
The "KRIKET" input is connected to a four-channel Vactrøl, which simultaneously controls the pitches of all four channels. This input can be excited down to the range of audio rates and if you adjust the "KRIKET" input with a trigger signal, chirping noises and *PEW PEW´s* are generated as if by a laser blaster!
