The Noise Engineering Variatic Erumption is a clock module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module also has a built-in LFO. This can either output clock signals itself or be synchronized with an external clock. The module also contains a burst generator that outputs gate signals that are synchronized to the LFO or the external clock in the module. Variatic Erumption has a total of 33 burst patterns, which can be selected via CV or a potentiometer. Each pattern offers a maximum of 64 steps, whereby the length is also controlled by CV or potentiometer.
Internal Clock
If the internal clock is used, the actual clock-in jack serves as CV input for frequency control of the LFO over 8 octaves. The speed of the LFO can be manually controlled via the middle potentiometer (Tmp/Div).
External Clock
If an external clock is connected to the clock-in socket, the Tmp/Div-Poti serves as a clock divider with divider factors from 1-32. This allows you to create perfectly polyrhythmic drum patterns such as fill-ins or rolls.
