With the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Parting, OBNE, in collaboration with harpist Emily Hopkins, presents a creative effects pedal that combines glitch delay, reverb, modulation, and signal crushing to serve as a versatile sound design tool. At its core is a central control that, depending on the setting, either reduces the sample rate of the incoming signal or transforms it into an increasingly degraded reverse signal. The effect is further enhanced by a selectable modulation section and a glitchy delay that responds either to random processes or to the input envelope, which can be smeared into rich, reverberant textures.
