The DMP-102 USB/SD card player from Omnitronic is a feature-rich MP3 player for SDHC/MMC memory cards and USB devices, including an IR remote control. With a height of 1U, the MP3 player is suitable for installation in a 19" rack, making it ideal for fixed installations where quick and easy access to music is required (e.g. restaurants, gyms, retail outlets, etc.). The integrated audio player features a USB interface and an SDHC/MMC memory card slot for enjoying MP3 files. Furthermore, the audio player is fully compatible with the playback of CBR and VBR files.
The cue function allows you to jump to a pre-determined point at any time, so you can start any song at exactly the right moment. The pitch – and therefore the tempo – of the current song can be adjusted within a range of ±16 per cent. If required, the pitch can also be deactivated. Using the PITCH BEND + and – buttons, the tempo of one track can be adjusted (synchronised) to match that of a second track from another signal source. This ensures that the rhythm is not interrupted when fading from one track to another. In addition, the device features a seamless loop/reloop function for playing a section within a track as often as desired without any interruption in sound, as well as single-track, all-track or random playback.
To connect a microphone or headphones, the DMP-102 USB/SD card player has a balanced XLR socket and a 3.5 mm jack socket on the front panel.
All settings and functions can be conveniently controlled via the blue backlit display with colour-illuminated control buttons on the front panel or using the supplied IR remote control. The scope of delivery includes mounting brackets for installation in a 19" rack.
