The Pearl MMG924XSP Masters Maple Gum Platinum Gold Oyster represents the highest quality in terms of workmanship and sound. The Pearl shell set includes a 22 by 16 inch bass drum, 10 by 7 inch and 12 by 8 inch toms, and a 16 by 16 inch floor tom. The high-quality shells are made of the finest maple with two layers of rubberwood in the center and produce a deep, clear sound with resonant shimmer. The equipment of the shells offers, besides MasterCast hoops, aluminum OptiMount suspension and Remo heads, also a full-size bass drum cushion.

With MasterCast cast hoops, the Masters Maple Gum drums feature heavy hoops that give the resonant shell the focus it needs.
