With the new EW D system, Sennheiser opens up new possibilities where other systems have previously reached their limits. Where else can you achieve a reliable connection within seconds and operate up to 90 fully scalable channels at the same time? And all of this with virtually no latency.

The Evolution Wireless Digital System

The Sennheiser EW-D ME2 SET R4-9 (552-607.8 MHz) consists of a stationary EW-D EM Rack Receiver, an EW-DSK digital bodypack transmitter and the ME 2 clip-on microphone and is particularly suitable for speakers. The lapel microphone with omnidirectional polar pattern has an optimized audio transmission range for even better speech intelligibility. Thanks to the improved clip-on design, a lighter plastic housing with built-in windscreen, the clip-on microphone can be quickly and firmly attached to clothing.

Sennheiser's system uses the equidistant frequency grid, which was only used in Sennheiser's high-end Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 systems until now. This makes complex frequency coordination a thing of the past. This means that even laymen in radio technology can operate and set up the new system really quickly and easily. All settings are made via the display and the function keys.

Sound engineer in pocket format

Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy, you have full control over the entire system using the Sennheiser Smart Assist app. Enjoy convenient remote access to every system parameter directly from your Android or iOS device.

If you prefer not to search manually for available frequencies, simply activate the automatic setup function. All parameters are adjusted automatically, even when multiple wireless links are in use simultaneously. This saves valuable time and allows you to focus fully on your performance.

Battery or rechargeable battery - that is the question!

The Sennheiser EW D system can be operated with standard AA batteries, providing a runtime of up to 6 hours. Alternatively, the optional Sennheiser BA 70 rechargeable battery offers a more environmentally friendly solution and delivers an extended operating time of up to 12 hours.

Scope of delivery

All Evolution Wireless Digital System models are supplied with a rack mounting kit for easy installation in a 19 inch rack. A power supply with country specific adapters is also included.
