Headset with dynamic microphone for broadcast commentator and studio applications

The Sennheiser HMD 27 is a headset for broadcast, commentary and studio applications. Its closed, ear-enclosing design ensures optimum attenuation of external noise while still offering a high level of wearing comfort. The headset can be equipped either with a two-part headband or with the large head cushion included in the scope of delivery, which then holds the two headbands together as a single headband. The swivel microphone can be worn on either the right or left side. This is a high-quality dynamic microphone with hypercardioid characteristic and a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz, which is specially designed for commentators and effectively minimizes ambient noise.

Built-in hearing protection

The HMD 27 is equipped with the switchable "ActiveGard" function, which protects the user from sudden level peaks by automatically compressing signals of over 110 dB.
