The TC Electronic Helix Phaser Guitar Effects Pedal gives you all the classic phaser sounds straight out of the box. From massive sonic bends to subtle sweeps. It features TC Electronic's TonePrint which allows you to design your very own pedal, making the Helix Phaser a very versatile pedal.
The Phaser effect has been used by tons of guitarists over the years. With its easy to use and broad set of controls, the Helix Phaser allows you to dial in everything from bright vintage sounding Gilmore swirls, to modern phaser tones heard in Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead. With True Bypass and Analogue-Dry-Through added to the mix, you have your new favourite sonic pedal.
The Helix Phaser has been designed with simplicity but functionality in mind. The four knobs allow you to change the speed, depth, feedback and mix. A mini-toggle switch allows you to go from vintage to smooth and activate the TonePrint function.
The speed knob lets you go from slow, developing sweeps to fast, pulsating spins. Depth allows you to either tame or go full on psychedelic with the sweep. Turning the feedback knob makes the phaser more pronounced and resonant, adding more chance of playable feedback. Mix controls the mix between your dry sound and the phaser effect.
TonePrint allows you to upload basic sounds and effects from some of the greatest guitarists in the world today, straight to your pedal. Using your smartphone, you simply download the TonePrint app, choose what setting you want to use, follow the instructions on the app, and now you have a signature effect that you can modify and play about with on your effects pedal. Furthermore, by using the TonePrint Editor you can create your own custom TonePrint pedal.
The Helix Phaser has true or buffered bypass that ensures zero tone coloration, letting your tone shine through with no loss of high-end. With analogue dry through, the Helix Phaser lets your guitars original signal pass without converting to digital. This keeps every nuance of your tone intact and ensures zero latency. This pedal gives you the option of using mono, or stereo I/O for an ultra-wide sonic perspective.
