Electro acoustic guitar, Mahogany body, mahogany neck, Laurel fingerboard, 644 mm scale length, 42,5 mm nut width, pickup system
With the GN11MCE NS2, Japanese manufacturer Takamine is expanding its affordable G series with a stylish acoustic guitar in a convenient Nex design. Due to a laminated mahogany wood construction, the body builds up an extremely warm and powerful sound, which is gently enhanced by a thin matt finish, making the instrument extremely versatile. In terms of playability, Takamine have hit the mark, as a flat mahogany neck with a laurel fingerboard and a narrow 42.5 mm nut width allows comfortable access to all 20 frets. Smooth chrome die-cast tuners enable precise tuning and round off the GN11MCE as a perfect entry-level instrument. Its simple appearance and a natural sounding TP-4T pickup system prove that the manufacturer has focused their attention on the essential aspects of guitar building and concentrates entirely on the needs of the player.
