Electro acoustic guitar, Grand-Concert, all solid, Sitka spruce top, rosewood body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, pickup system, including case
By adding the compact Taylor 812ce V-Class to its high-end series, the Californian manufacturer expands its electro acoustic guitar range to include a Grand Concert electro acoustic guitar that produces a balanced and powerful sound due to its all solid construction. This high-quality instrument owes its highly pronounced mid and high frequencies to a fine-grained Sitka spruce top, which is framed by a fine maple binding. To enrich the sound with rich bass frequencies, the manufacturer uses a Indian rosewood body, harmonising perfectly with the top wood. A flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard guarantees easy and comfortable playability in all 20 frets, which can be accessed easily even in the highest positions thanks to a generous cutaway. In addition to a micarta saddle and a 44.45 mm wide nut made of black graphite, the flat V-Class-Bracing ensures clean intonation over the entire scale length of 632 mm and a long-lasting tone. Visually, the 812ce V-Class convinces with fine abalone inlays, an ebony pickguard and precise nickeldie-cast tuners. In order to reproduce the acoustic sound more authentically, a high-quality Taylor Expression System 2 is built into the instrument with three potentiometers in the frame with which bass, treble and volume can be adjusted. Includes a sturdy case.
