Following the acclaimed success of the Tone King Imperial, the US amp specialists present the Tone King Royalist Preamp, the logical next step for fans of classic Brit sounds. The preamp pedal developed on the basis of the Tone King Royalist Mk III Combo offers legendary Plexi character à la JTM45 and brings the typical sixties and seventies tone directly to the pedalboard. Three 12AX7 tubes work inside and provide dynamic, authentic British drive from warm clean sounds in the style of early JTM45 and Bassman amps to powerful lead voicings of the late 60s. The two-channel design with separate 3-band tone control per channel and switchable 1964/1967/1970 voicings allows precise adjustment to different styles. The concept is complemented by an integrated zero-watt power amplifier with phase inverter, two Iron Man attenuators, channel-assignable reverb, HF switch and a switchable stereo effects loop.

Thanks to integrated impulse response technology with 20 OwnHammer cabs, balanced stereo XLR outputs, headphone connection and comprehensive MIDI functionality with up to 128 storable presets, the Royalist is a fully-fledged DI solution for stage and studio. The pedal can be conveniently managed with the Tone King Editor software via the USB-C port. Last but not least, a suitable USB cable and the corresponding 12V power supply unit are included in the scope of delivery.
