Analog meets digital in a modern beat design

The Beat Machine EZX expands EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 with a clearly focused concept: electronic Drum machines and organic drums interlock and deliver directly playable kits for current productions. This is not about raw individual samples, but about ready-made sounds that work immediately in Mix and at the same time leave enough room for your own interventions.

25 kits that work immediately

At the center are 25 mix-ready preset kits, which are deliberately designed between acoustic punch and electronic precision. Classic drum machine sounds are combined with newly processed acoustic drums, creating a modern, hybrid character. Each kit comes with multiple snare and kick variations, allowing you to quickly create different vibes within a single preset. The result ranges from clean and tight to deliberately edgy, almost lo-fi sounds. It is precisely this range that makes the package interesting for pop, beatmaking and everything that moves between electronic and organic production.

Groove meets sound

Each kit has its own MIDI selection that is precisely tailored to the respective sound. The grooves are not intended to be generic, but directly pick up on the feel of the kit. Verse, chorus and breakdown variations ensure that complete song structures can be built up quickly.

In the Grid Editor of EZdrummer 3 or Superior Drummer 3, you can then shape the material further and adapt it to your own workflow.

Mixer, macros and real access to the sound

Each instrument is on its own channel, supplemented by separate reverb and delay returns. This gives you direct access to all the important elements in the kit and allows you to mix them just like in a real production.

Ten macros are also available per Preset . This allows you to quickly access central parameters such as pitch, filter, transients, compression or saturation. You can also directly influence Reverb and Delay. This allows you to completely change the character of a kit with just a few moves or go into fine detail if necessary.

If you prefer to mix completely externally, simply route the individual signals into your DAW via Multi-Out and start with a neutral starting point.

Sound design between machine and human

The Beat Machine EZX thrives on its mixture of precise electronics and a lively feel. Over 400 sounds, from classic kicks and snares to claps, percussion, effects and risers, form the basis for versatile beats with their own character.
