Universal Audio offers with UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO Ultimate 7 a powerful DSP system including the breathtaking collection of 99 UAD Powered Plug-Ins. The elegant desktop device with Thunderbolt interface is compatible with both Macs and Windows PCs and upgrades UA audio interfaces and other UAD-2 DSP systems with its computing power extremely. The result: Larger mixes can be driven with many high-quality analog emulation plug-ins.

The 99 plugins developed by UA come from the world famous UA library with titles from Ampex, Lexicon , Neve, Manley , Fairchild, Studer , Empirical Labs , , Fender , SSL and many more. Thanks to the eight SHARC processors, enormous processing power is guaranteed and, in combination with Thunderbolt technology, significantly lower plug-in latency compared to FireWire800.
