Ibanez belongs to the Hoshino Gakki Group and is a Japanese manufacturer of guitars, bass guitars and effects pedals. Ibanez has established itself on the market as one of the world's leading manufacturers. Initially, Ibanez produced only copies of other successful manufacturers. The company's first own model was the Ibanez Iceman. In 1987, Ibanez and Steve Vai developed the seven-string electric guitar, which has an additional low B string.
