Handmade condenser capsule - for natural sounding recordings

Inside the sE6160 is a handmade small-diaphragm true condenser capsule with a gold-plated diaphragm. This not only guarantees sensitivity (25 mV/Pa), but also an exceptionally natural sound reproduction with high transparency and depth. The elaborately tuned acoustic design ensures excellent off-axis damping and minimizes sound-distorting influences, even in loud environments.

Ideal for in-ear monitoring and ambient miking

The sE6160 fills an important gap, especially for live shows: As an audience microphone, it brings the atmosphere of the room back into the in-ear mix, giving the performance a more lively and natural feel. Musicians can feel their audience without having to sacrifice precise in-ear monitoring. The microphone is also ideal for surround and ambience recordings at concerts, film sets or outdoor broadcasts.

Two switchable filters - full control for every recording

The sE6160 offers flexible adaptation to any recording situation:

Pad (10 / 20 dB): For loud sound sources such as drums or PA signals, without clipping.
Low-cut filter (80 / 160 Hz, 6 dB/octave): Reduces impact sound, rumble and compensates for proximity effect.

These functions make the microphone extremely versatile - in the studio, on stage or on the road.
