The Audio-Technica Pro 37 is a modern small-diaphragm microphone with a robust design. Particularly noteworthy are its excellent directional characteristics, its very good transient response and its highly compact dimensions – at just under 10 cm in length – which allow for straightforward and unobtrusive placement. It is suitable for use in recording studios when recording acoustic instruments, piano or guitar, as well as for vocal groups and choirs. It also performs very well in live performance settings, for example as overhead microphones or mounted underneath the snare drum.
