The DW Collector's 45th Anniversary Snare in 14" x 6.5" is a limited edition. It is a highly exclusive top class instrument made of the finest Stradivari spruce from the forest of violins in Northern Italy and European Sycamore. On the drum shell there is the "45th Anniversary" in Roman letters, the number 45 was engraved and the air holes are so-called F-holes, like on a Stradivari violin. The shell hardware is made of nickel and the tried-and-tested DW TrueHoops were used as hoops, which, in conjunction with the True Pitch tuning rods, provide tuning reliability and balanced, warm sound. The professional DW Mag Throw-Off and Tru-Tone Snare wire complete the features of this DW Collector's Snare. A professional DW Deluxe Bag for transporting the snare drum is also included.
The DW Collector's 45th Anniversary Snare is made of the best wood available for instrument making, namely northern Italian spruce from the forest of violins. From this famous Stradivari spruce, the American custom manufacturer Drum Workshop has now built a strictly limited snare drum for the first time. The sound is extremely warm, balanced and voluminous thanks to the special wood. Even the typical F-holes for string instruments are present in the shell as air holes. The finest engravings in Roman letters, the elaborate burst finish and the shell hardware made of nickel make the DW 45th Anniversary Snare Drum a top-class collector's item. A DW Deluxe Bag is also included.
The shell hardware of the DW Aniversary Snare is completely made of nickel and is completely handcrafted for the best possible sound experience. High-quality forged TruTone steel hoops, a DW Mag Throw-Off and a TrueTone snare wire and the TruePitch screws emphasize the precious origin, both acoustically and visually.
