I'm a Bassist and I bought this to get my Moog Werkstatt-01 working with my Studiologic MP-117 Pedal array. It does the job very well, meaning I don't have to mess about with running through an Arturia Keystep 37 (which saves space!). The unit is solidly constructed (not much plastic on THIS, baby!!), the"Glide" function works very well, and so far it's been reliable. The only downside was the "Wall Wart" supplied was a Europlug and I'm in the UK, but that's a minor niggle. It also means i can use a full size MIDI keyboard to control said Werkstatt.
Irritating, as minijack cables obstruct using the glide knob. The MIDI in and power supply, really should be mounted on rear of casing. The glide knob should go where the MIDI in is placed to avoid obstruction by the cabling.
Why not make the other CV outputs also optional on 1V/oct. Many of us have 3 or more modular synths, all requiring their own individual CV/gt input. Operation is fine with this device but overall design is poorly thought out. Ideally, make this device with 4 gt's out and 4 CV 1v/oct outs.
