With the effects interfaceHardware plugin, EHX offers an innovative solution for hybrid setups that seamlessly connects pedals, outboard gear and DAW plug-ins. Analogue effects such as delay, wah or preamp pedals can be integrated directly into the DAW signal path via a simple USB-C connection as conveniently as a plug-in in the insert. At the same time, plug-ins from the DAW can also be integrated into a real pedalboard setup in the opposite direction, allowing virtual effects and amp simulations to be used like a hardware pedal in a live rig. Three operating modes are available for this: Hardware Plugin Mode, Pedalboard Mode and a classic Audio Interface Mode as a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface. Thanks to Stereo inputs and outputs, separate level controls and headphone output, the effects interface is suitable for both recording workflows and modern stage setups including power supply unit and USB-C cable.
